Thursday Evening Fixture Competition
Our new Thursday evening fixture competition commenced in February 2011. This new format fixture comp is suited to:
- working women,
- mothers of small children,
- university students,
- others for whom day-time tennis is not feasible and
- anyone who wishes to have another game of tennis in their week!
The features of the evening fixtures will be:
- women’s doubles,
- two players per team,
- two 6-game sets, 10-point tie-break if set-all,
- no requirement to provide food,
- all games for each division to be played in a central location,
- season will be aligned, as close as possible, to university and school holidays,
- providing a fun, healthy way to spend a Thursday evening!!
