Local tennis has been given a major boost from the ACT Government.
A sum of $294,650 in Sport and Recreation Services funding will be spent upgrading local community tennis facilities, Minister Andrew Barr announced today.
Tennis clubs will also make a major contribution to the upgrades with the total spent on tennis facilities this year expected to exceed $0.5m.
