31 January 2010 | Tennis ACT

We are very pleased to announce the appointment of two new Community Tennis Officers to the Tennis ACT team. Marianne Aliperti and Anthony Okines will be starting in February thanks to the additional grassroots funding from Tennis Australia.

Marianne has over 7 years experience as a tennis coach in Sydney, as well as a B.A. in Sports Business. As a keen tennis player she also represented her district and competed at local and state competitions.

Anthony Okines (aka Oky) will be well known to the ACT tennis fraternity. Anthony coached at the Kaleen Tennis Club for 7 years and was recently the project manager for the upgrade of the Kaleen courts. Anthony joins the Tennis ACT team with a solid knowledge of the operations of tennis clubs in Canberra, having been involved with the Kaleen Tennis Club Committee as Club Captain and through his years of experience coaching in the ACT.

Please join us in welcoming Marianne and Anthony to the Tennis ACT team.
