Finals matches were completed today in the inaugural ACT White AMT #1. The event is one of three new Australian Money Tournaments (AMT) on the ACT tennis calendar. The clay court event was affected by late showers on Friday, which lead to additional matches and a late finish Saturday night. Sunday saw semis and finals being completed with only a minor delay.
Local player Todd Volmari defeated Jay LaGinestra in the final of the mens singles (pictured above). Dael McKenna from NSW took out the womens singles defeating another local player Sanjana Bidarkal.
The mens doubles were taken out by Canberra players Tim Huynh and Patrick Jozwik. Lara Gallagher and Tarlina Tipungwuti won the womens doubles.
Congratulations go to all players who took part in the event. Tournament organisers would also like to thank all the officials for their hard work during the tournament.
