In attempt to create a better standard of Tennis for Junior Pennant players, Tennis ACT in conjunction with affiliated coaches have decided on changes to Junior Pennant for 2012. The Junior Pennant will commence on February 26th with the following changes taking effect.
– Teams in all divisions can now be unisex, with grading being done by club coaches
– The competition format will remain the same, although the competition will run over eight weeks to coincide with other sports and tournaments
– Time for division one will change to 8.45am arrival for a 9am start with continuous play to finish at 12pm
– Green court will be introduced for division four and below (green low compression balls will be supplied to team supervisors)
