After becoming a victim to Canberra’s recent wet weather, Sport for Women Day 2012 will now rock Stage88 in Commonwealth Park on Sunday 1 April from 11am-4pm.
Fittingly, the event will follow hot on the heels of 1000 women lining up in Commonwealth Park for the 2012 Women and Girls Fun Run.
“The event will be a day full of action for the whole family with more than 25 demonstration sports to try, free exercise classes, free massages, free health checks and diet advice, or try something a bit different like skeet shooting or dragon boating,” says Event Organiser Keiran Gaffney.
Tennis ACT will be represented at Sport for Women Day promoting the national program Cardio Tennis.
