Nick and his partner Andrew Harris (VIC) won several close matches (see below) and saved 3 match points in the quarter-finals en route to the title.  Winning a Grand Slam in any event is truly a remarkable achievement. Have a look  at some statistics below which shows just how amazing it is!

Nick and Andrew become the 1st Australian Boys Pair to win the title since Woodbridge/Anderson back in 1989!

Nick becomes the only ACT player to capture a FRENCH OPEN TITLE AT ANY LEVEL – EVER!!!!!

In the singles event, Nick narrowly lost in the 2nd round to Coppeljans (BEL) in 3 close sets, 7-5 in the third, after fighting back from 5-2 down in the final set. Coppeljans went on the win the boys singles title.

Nick’s junior ranking rose from 37 to 17 after the event and he is currently competing in the Roehampton Junior event in the lead up to the Wimbledon Junior Championships – where Nick and Andrew will team up again. You can follow Nick’s progress at www.itftennis.com or www.wimbledon.com
