The 2013 Melba Junior Open was held on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th April as part of the Medibank Junior Development Series.
The event saw an additional thirty participants in comparison to the previous years event.The event consisting of Open, A and B grade singles and doubles for the boys and girls saw over eighty entries.

• B Grade Singles: Sammy Wyers

• A Grade Boys Singles: Luke christophe Jurkiewicz
• B Grade Boys Doubles: James Arthur Lloyd, Oliver Henry Sheehan
• B Grade Boys Singles: Daniel George Kouzmin

‘It was a fantastic weekend and I was happy to see new players and kids playing tennis’, Peemoeller said, the tournament director.
The active and enthusiastic committee at the Melba Tennis Club will see the tournament continue to grow even bigger next year.
