The ACT Bruce Cup team will be holding a fundraiser on Sunday August 23rd. The Bruce Cup is the National 12/U School Sport Championships. This year the ACT will head to Hobart in October to compete and are hosting a tennis event to raise funds to help them get there.
A 101 Tennis Challenge event will be held with all players being guaranteed 4 matches. Get together a team of 5 players, or enter as a single and you will be placed in a team. There will be prizes on offer for the winners and the best dressed team, along with a barbeque, hit the target, and speed serve competitions. At 2pm, Bruce Cup team members will challenge their coaches in an exhibition match. The event will be on regardless of the weather, with the indoor courts being used at the Canberra Tennis Centre in case of rain.
