The 2016 Junior Development Series (JDS) will kick off in Canberra in March. The JDS is a group of tournaments for beginner to intermediate players designed to give players their first experience in playing a series of tournaments throughout the year. The JDS offer both singles and doubles events in a round robin format for 11/u, 13/u, 15/u, and 17/u boys and girls.
Tennis ACT Participation Manager, Lenka Greenhalgh said “The JDS is perfect a opportunity for junior pennant players to get their first taste of tournament play. The events are held on non-pennant playing dates, to ensure all players have the opportunity to get involved in the series’.
The North Woden Junior Open is the first event and will be held from 19-20 March, with entries closing on the 16th of March. To enter, please click here
