Melba Tennis Club held their Open Junior tournament on April 2-3. The tournament had over 100 entries ranging from beginner to immediate players. The tournament is part of the Junior Development Series (JDS) which is designed to give players a first experience in playing tournaments throughout the year.
Melba Junior Open Tournament Director Owen Peemoeller said “The tournament was a great success. It was great to see so many kids participating with some fantastic tennis on display. We had an awesome weekend of weather and all matches were played in good spirit”.
