Season 2 of Super 10’s 2017 for the ACT / South East / South West NSW was held over two weekends in November with 52 boys and girls in the 10/u age group participating. The format included a training camp and six rounds of competition with the support of over 10 local coaches who were involved on-court coaching the players and managing a team.
The Super 10’s began with local Nick Kyrgios spending time on-court with the players, hitting, signing autographs and sharing some of his experiences from when he was their age. Nick seemed very impressed with the local talent and encouraged them to have fun and enjoy playing with their team mates.
Four boys and four girls from the local competition will be selected to head to Melbourne during the Australian Open to participate in the Talent Tens national finals. There will be a total of 32 boys and 32 girls from around the Country invited to the Talent Tens for an exciting 4 days of competition.
