Top seed Jason Kubler (Qld) has been forced to withdraw from the Apis Canberra International due to a patellar tendinitis injury ahead of his first round match with Maverick Banes (Qld) on Tuesday.
Tournament director Kim Kachel said “We wish Jason a speedy recovery from injury and we hope to see him back on the court as soon as possible.”
Kubler will be replaced in the draw by lucky loser Tung-Lin Wu (TPE).
