Today Tennis ACT, together with Lonsdale Street Roasters announce the launch of Baseline. A new coffee blend that gives back to the local tennis community.
Lonsdale Street Roasters are all about supporting the tennis community and are kindly donating a percentage of proceeds of all Baseline bags sold. Alistair Evans from Lonsdale Street Roasters shared his excitement of the launch “We are extremely excited to partner with Tennis ACT. Through this partnership, we will be assisting and supporting local tennis clubs, young tennis players and their families – something that Lonsdale Street Roasters is very passionate about”.
Lonsdale Street Rosters is a locally owned and operated Canberra business. The Baseline blend is designed for the coffee lover in mind. The beans are selected from Brazil and Colombia, and specially roasted using a infrared roasting method, in the heart of Canberra in Braddon.
Tennis ACT CEO Kim Kachel stated, “Tennis ACT are delighted to partner with Lonsdale Street Roasters. By donating a percentage of profits of all bags sold, it will directly support all our affiliated clubs across the ACT and region. All of our community clubs are 100% volunteer operated, so support like this will go a long way. It’s a brilliant local partnership and great initiative.”
Kachel continued, “Likewise, money raised will also help support TEAM ACT, which is comprised of athletes representing the ACT in Bruce and Pizzey Cups, our aspiring primary and secondary school players. Athletes will use this as a key part of their fundraising activities to support the travel and expenses associated with representing ACT”.
There are a number of ways to purchase. You can purchase Baseline through the Lonsdale Street Roasters website or at selected supermarkets across the ACT. Baseline is available in 250g or 1kg bags. When purchasing online you will be able to choose the community club which you wish to support.
