The ANZ Junior Development Series (JDS) has returned to the courts with the Forrest Junior Open taking place on 1-2 August at Forrest Tennis Club. Fifty-nine kids competed in round robin singles events across four age groups.
Tennis ACT Tournaments and Competitions Manager, Lenka Greenhalgh said it was great to see the kids back competing in the series.
“The ANZ JDS is a great opportunity for kids to get their first taste of tournament play in a supportive environment.
“We have been really lucky with the dates for our events this year and so far we have managed to run all of our events, with three additional events still to held in 2020.”
