Sub committees are used for delegation, focus and time efficiency. The type of sub committee can vary depending on your task, size and time frame. Below are some definitions on different sub committees.

Standing committees: permanent responsibilities, that operate all year round. E.g., Finance, coaching, umpire, selections, juniors etc

Short-term sub committees: Pre determined period, with a start and end date. Selected focus E.g., Social and fundraising event

Task groups: gather information for a project to present to the committee who then make the final decision E.g., building a new club house, providing a vending machine etc
