Venue Operator

Placed: 20 November 2024

Overview

Expression of Interest

Milton Ulladulla District Tennis Association (MUDTA)

Venue Operator

A reinvigorated MUDTA committee is 12 months into a full refresh and reset of the MUDTA venues and the next step is to identify an exceptional Venue Operator to manage tennis programming and grow participation of tennis in the region.

MUDTA operates two facilities, 12 synthetic grass courts in Ulladulla and two synthetic grass courts in Milton. The Venue Operator will be required to service current users and attract new participation to the sites through quality programming and events. The Venue Operator will be required to manage the venues in line with our ambition to be the premier tennis centre in South East NSW and a premier venue for the local community and visitors to enjoy.

The Milton Ulladulla district is a growing regional area and a popular travel destination due to its beautiful stretches of coastline, outdoor adventure opportunities, scenic drives, artistic endeavours and food and wine offerings.

The Ulladulla courts are located next to the Ulladulla Leisure Centre. The 12 synthetic grass courts are very well maintained with a beautiful aspect and grounds. Two courts have been resurfaced this year and all twelve courts had new lighting installed 2-3 years ago. There is plenty of parking available within the precinct.

The Milton courts are located close to iconic local businesses and primary schools. They are ideally located for intimate events. The two synthetic grass courts have lights and the venue has off street parking.

The Venue Operator will be responsible for the engagement and management of a professional coaching team, management of court hire, memberships and pro shop services along with offering an extensive range of tennis programming options.

The Venue Operator will have experience in running programmes such as Tennis Hot Shots, Competitive play for all ages and abilities, Social Tennis Initiatives, Cardio Tennis, School Partnerships, Complimentary Racquetball Formats, Group and Private lessons, Community and Corporate Events and Tournaments.

MUDTA is looking to engage a long-term Venue Operator. The contract period will be for an initial 5 year period with a further 5 year option.
