PTA manages numerous tennis facilities throughout Sydney and is a rapidly growing business with a strong client base. We have a wide range of players from beginners to Pro level players. Our current programs include all Hot Shots levels, Squads, Privates and adult lessons. Many of our lessons are very high level Junior athletes.

The position is casual/permanent part time. 30+ hours on court available Monday – Friday (early mornings and afternoon/evenings) and Saturday (morning to early afternoon), including off court managerial duties.

The successful applicant will be responsible for;

  • Delivering Hot Shots lessons, Private and squad lessons. Cardio tennis if qualified.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Be able to work within a team environment.
  • Have a strong work ethic, be involved in continuous professional development and look to continually improve their coaching skills.
  • Have a personality conducive to building relationships with the team, students, parents, and community.
  • Give advice on the right pathway for talented juniors, competition or tournament players.
  • Skilled in IT and social media.
  • A strong background in tennis.
  • Must have own transport.
  • Coaches insurance.

Centre Manager/Operator

Canterbury Bankstown Tennis Association have the head lease with Canterbury Bankstown Council and require a coach with recognised coaching qualifications and experience to run their own business at the centre. Operate a coaching business, manage and encourage court hire etc and work in conjunction with CBTA in regards to various Tournaments run through the Association at various times in the year.

This business is a full time one and CBTA look forward to working with a progressive coach with ability and dedication who will take the Smith Park centre to its full potential. Caretaker Coach

Overview

SIXLOVE Tennis is looking for a suitable tennis coach to take over the lessons currently conducted by the Head Coach during their absence from the 27th of August (mid Term 3) until the conclusion of Term 3.

There is also the opportunity to conduct some of those lessons over the following two weeks of the school holidays. Currently this consists of approximately 17 hours of coaching, Tuesday to Friday afternoon/evening and Wednesday and Saturday mornings, however the actual ours will be subject to a number of Private lessons deciding to continue their lessons while the Head Coach is away. There is some flexibility in the position as lessons can be moved (given enough time to plan), and current assistant coaches are also available to conduct some of the lessons if required.

The position consists of Hot Shots, Group lessons, Squads, Cardio Tennis, Private & Semi Private lessons. The applicant should be competent and confident in conducting these lesson types and conducting lessons for all ages. Hot Shots lesson plans can be provided to assist.

  • Work towards obtaining JDS certification, with support from the management team.

CAGNEY TENNIS ACADEMY has an exciting opportunity for a part-time tennis coach across it’s 5 centres in Newcastle / Lake Macquarie.
