Overview

The Meehan Tennis Academy is based out of the 9 court Hoppers Crossing Tennis Club. We have a team of highly qualified and experienced coaches who deliver lessons at several locations across the West of Melbourne; from the Hot Shots beginner level through to performance players.

Our performance programs are expanding in 2025 so we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our coaching team. This position is for a coach who is able to work alongside Ryan Meehan (TA Performance Qualified coach) to plan and deliver our performance program to junior players; ranging from orange ball through to international level, working in both squad and private lessons. The coach will be provided with paid planning time each week and will have the opportunity to attend tournaments with players. The coach will also have the opportunity, if desired, to assist in running UTR tournaments, administrative duties and restringing.

The successful applicant must have:

Overview

The Victorian Tennis Academy [VTA] is looking to appoint a full-time coach to join our growing team. This person needs to be enthusiastic and a highly motivated tennis professional who can lead, support and develop our coaching program.

VTA operates out of 4 large venues in Melbourne and has nearly 3000 players participating each week in a range of coaching programs including Hot Shots, Cardio Tennis and competitions. VTA strives to deliver inspiring, inclusive tennis experiences and we are looking for an active, fun and enthusiastic team member to create a great all-inclusive environment.

Qualities
• Tennis Australia Junior Development Coach / international equivalent or higher is required (willingness and ability to acquire Tennis Australia’s Club Coach level within 12 months.)
• TA membership inc. Working with Children’s Check, Police Check and current 1st Aid are essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for developing people and the game of Tennis.
• Prepared to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

We offer a variety of coaching positions at 5 Tennis Club locations in the Western suburbs of Victoria, one of which is now the largest Junior Club in all of Western Victoria.

As a Senior Coach, you must have a passion for tennis and the ability to remain professional at all times. You will deliver hot shots, junior group lessons, Cardio lessons for adults, private lessons and of course squad training.

The applicant must be willing to grow with our business and have strong communication skills. Must have own transport & be computer literate. Option for future permanent positions available to the right candidates. We support your professional growth and have regular in-house training.

Assistant Coach

Overview

JTS tennis coaching is a coaching program located at Heatherdale Tennis club in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs. We are looking for coaches to join our fun and enthusiastic team with plenty of opportunity to learn and grow.

This is a great opportunity to work in an environment where you will receive ongoing guidance and support from coaches. Coaching will include a variety of ages and standards, these include: Hot shots, Junior lessons, squads, cardio tennis, Private and semi-private lessons, school programs and holiday programs.

The role can range from 4-40 hours depending on the applicant. Pay negotiable The right applicant
