Europe Coach Tour 2025
Join the Tennis Australia Coach team on an inspiring international development tour, designed for coaches eager to expand their knowledge, broaden their experience beyond Australian shores and connect with global tennis leaders.
The tour will be conducted from Thursday 19 June to Wednesday 2 July 2025. Depending on your State/Territory these dates are late term 2 or early school holidays. The tour offers exclusive experiences including insights into innovative tennis programs, player development, and multi-sport integration across the Netherlands, Belgium, Finland, and the UK.
Tour Highlights*:
- Netherlands: KNLTB Dutch Tennis Federation visit with player development sessions by Jan Bunt and Simon Wheatley.
- Belgium: Etten Luir Racket Sport Complex and Antwerp’s National Tennis Centre, showcasing Kids’ Tennis and Padel Programs.
- Finland: Helsinki’s HVS Tennis Centre, Europe’s largest indoor facility, with specialised workshops and coaching sessions.
- United Kingdom: Pickleball England’s National Centre and The Roehampton Club, plus the SWNineteen National Coaching Conference.
- Grand Slam Excitement: Two days at Wimbledon to witness the pinnacle of grass court tennis.

Learning Experience
Led by Scott Rawlins (Professional Learning Manager, Tennis Australia) and Simon Wheatley (Director of SWNineteen), the tour will blend on-court and off-court learning with invaluable networking opportunities. Participate in roundtable coaching discussions and professional development with international coaches.
Tour Fee: $7,700 (incl. GST)*
Tour fee includes access to key personnel, coaching and sporting businesses, accommodation, ground transportation, facilitated learning experience, event tickets, pre tour virtual sessions and tour t-shirt/jumper.
* The Tour Fee is an estimate at the time of offer and is subject to change. The tour schedule is subject to change. No payment is necessary until your place on the tour is confirmed which will be in April 2025.
Exclusions
Not included in the tour fee – flights, all airport transfers, personal leisure activities, travel insurance, food and beverages. These are all additional costs.
Commitment
Tour places are limited and you must commit to the entire tour. You are welcome to include additional travel days before or after the tour but must attend the entire tour. Additional travel days will be at your own expense.

Expression of Interest (EOI) Criteria
Complete this EOI if you:
- Hold a current Tennis Australia Coach Membership
- Are a Junior Development, Club Professional, Master Club Professional or Performance Coach qualified
- Coach/work, operate, lease or own a multi-court tennis facility
- Hold a valid Australian Passport and Visa (if required)
Application process
- More information will be confirmed after all EOI’s have been reviewed.
This will take place between Monday 17 March and Friday 21 March 2025. - With limited tour places it is anticipated not all coaches will be invited to apply for the tour.
On Monday 24 March 2025 successful EOI coaches will be sent the TA Europe Coach Tour – Application Form outlining all tour information and commitments. Unsuccessful EOI coaches will also be advised by email at this time. - Coaches must apply and confirm their commitment to the tour by completing the TA Europe Coach Tour – Application Form by Monday 7 April 2025.
