The 2014/15 Junior Masters Finals were played at Bairnsdale on Sunday 22 March with 36 leading points scorers from the Circuit during the season competing for a place on the Junior Masters Honour Board.
Finals were held in Boys 10/U, 12/U, 14/U and 16/U and Girls 10/U, 12/U and 14/U age groups. Unfortunately, the Boys 18/U and Girls 16/U and 18/U were not competed and the Events Committee will work hard to develop these for next season.
TEG President Craig Radford said he was very impressed with the standard of play and the number of closely fought matches in the round robin formats. He thanked all the players who competed in the Circuit this season and the clubs for hosting the Lead-in and Finals events. Craig related that his enthusiastic Events Committee is looking forward to a further increase in the 2015/16 numbers.
You can see the updated Honour Board on the Competitions Page on our website.
In a further developmental move, members of our Events Committee have met with Central Gippsland representatives in an effort to coordinate our Junior Summer Circuit with their Junior Winter Circuit in future years to enhance the Player Pathway in both Regions.
