QLD Junior Teams Carnival 2015

Date: 12 – 16 December 2015

The Junior Teams Carnival is one of the most exciting events that Tennis Queensland has on the Junior Tournaments calendar in Queensland. The Metropolitan region plays host to the South, West, Central, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and North Regions. Because of the size of the Metropolitan area the region is split into Metropolitan North and Metropolitan South Regions.

The Brisbane River is the dividing boarder between the Metropolitan North and Metropolitan South Regions.  A player will be selected based on where they reside and their Australian Ranking at the time of selection will determine their ranking position team.

Event date: 12 – 16 December 2015.

Format: Individual and Team events

 – Each team (6 players – 3 boys/3 girls), with two teams (A and B) in each age division.

–   Metro South and Metro North will have an 11’s, 13’s, 15’s, 17’s with an A team and a B team in each age group.

– Players who are selected to compete will be automatically be entered into the Individual (Singles draw) of the Tournament.

– Each team match will consist of 8 rubbers

• 1 girls doubles
• 1 boys doubles
• 2 mixed doubles
• 2 girls singles
• 2 boys singles (preferably played in this order)
