On Saturday 26th March 2011 from 1pm to 4pm Springfield Lakes Tennis Club officially opened their club to the public at the Grand Park Tennis Courts on Grand Avenue at Springfield Lakes.
The day was very successful and many of the Springfield Lakes residents and surrounding suburbs experienced the activities at the event. The event allowed both adults and children to play tennis and win many prizes. Many of the tennis players also tested their serve in the speed serve competition.
The day was very successful and many people expressed their interest in becoming a member of the Springfield Lakes Tennis Club and the clubs future looks very promising having some people already sign up for membership. The Committee of the Springfield Lakes Tennis Club along with the assistance Fred Daniel made the day very successful and has ultimately helped build tennis participation in the area. Tennis Queensland wishes you all the best in the future.
