QUEENSLAND TENNIS CENTRE (QTC), home of the Brisbane International, is hosting the first Ultimate Club Challenge day for Queensland on Saturday 20th September 2014, from 12noon-4pm.
The Ultimate Club Challenge (UCC) is part of a nation-wide participation campaign known as the AO Tennis Blitz. In the UCC, town points are awarded to participating clubs, with a winner in each state and territory awarded $5000 to spend on tennis-related activities, support or equipment. Australia’s top 256 tennis towns will win the chance to be aligned with a player at Australian Open 2015.
Free introductions to tennis for any age and ability will be available at the QTC this Saturday, with one of the most experienced tennis coaching teams in Queensland.
Guests will have the opportunity to participate in a range of free interactive activities, including the ANZ Tennis Hot Shots, Cardio Tennis, social tennis, Queensland Tennis Centre tours, Speed Serve and dive volley competition.
Guests can also join in on a fun social doubles competition, or have the opportunity to be graded by one of their pros. They will receive a recommendation for one of Queensland Tennis Centre’s many fixture programs.
Queensland Tennis Centre will showcase their upgraded facilities, including a brand new pro shop and café at the event.
All coaching programs and fixtures will be on show and guests will have the opportunity to sign up to a program or become a member on the day.
There will be additional activities for the kids including a jumping castle, face painting and tennis craft activities. Plus, guests will have the chance to win a $2000 tennis package drawn on the day.
