Australia’s No.28-ranked male tennis player Mark Verryth has won his second ITF Futures title for 2010 after winning the Mexico F11 Futures tournament this week.

After claiming his debut title at the Japan F5 Futures event in June, the Victorian dropped one set in the early stages of the tournament before upsetting No.1 seed Adam El Midhawy (USA) in the final, 5-7 6-2 6-0.

The victory on his favoured clay surface was reward for an impressive season, where his thunderous serve and forehand led him to one semifinal and three quarterfinals appearances in ITF Futures events.

The 19 year old will be looking to carry his strong form into next year as he continues to climb the men’s singles rankings.
