Lemke wins Mildura title
Victorian No. 2 seed James Lemke of Camberwell has defeated Issac Frost of Townsville, Queensland, 6-4 6-2, to capture the Mildura Grand International crown.

Victorian No. 2 seed James Lemke of Camberwell has defeated Issac Frost of Townsville, Queensland, 6-4 6-2, to capture the Mildura Grand International crown.
In the semifinals Lemke downed Burnham Arlidge of Great Britain in a tough straight sets encounter, 7-6(11) 6-3, to progress to the finals, whereas Frost beat fellow Queenslander and eighth seed Michael Look, 6-2 6-4, to gain a finals berth.
In the women’s final Su-Wei Hsieh (TPE) was too strong for No. 2 seed Katie O’Brien of Great Britain, capturing the Mildura crown in straight sets, 6-1 6-2.
To reach the final, Hsieh defeated Gail Brodsky (USA), 6-4 6-0, in the semifinals and O’Brien beat Optus 18s National Champion Isabella Holland (St. Lucia, Qld), 6-1 6-1.
