Former world No.39 Casey Dellacqua (Woodvale, WA) has continued her impressive form since returning from injury by winning the Bundaberg Tennis International.
After dropping only one set en route to the final, the Australian star showed signs of her best as she powered to victory against No.4 seed and Commonwealth Games silver medallist Olivia Rogowska (St Kilda, Vic), 6-2 6-3.
Earlier in the weekend, Dellacqua also paired with Rogowska to claim their fourth doubles title on the Australian Pro Tour in 2011.
In the men’s draw, top seed James Lemke won his fifth ITF Pro Tour title by producing a commanding display against No.5 seed Erik Chvojka (CAN) in the final, 6-2 6-4.
The win in Bundaberg gave the Victorian his third title on the Australian Pro Tour this year, following victories in Mildura and last week’s City of Ipswich Tennis International where he also defeated Chvojka in the final.
The Bundaberg Tennis International marks the conclusion of the 2010 – 2011 Australia Pro Tour season.
