Australia’s Sophie Ferguson has been bundled out in the second round of qualifying for Wimbledon next week.

New Zealand’s Marina Erakovic accounted for Ferguson, 6-2 6-4.

Bernard Tomic will play Jean-Rene Lisnard of Monaco on Thursday for a spot in the 128-strong field for the third grand slam of the year which starts on Monday.

Australia is assured of one extra berth on the men’s side with compatriots Marinko Matosevic and Chris Guccione due to battle it out for a spot on Thursday.
