Following her latest win at the US Open, Sam Stosur broke into the shuffle on court as a shout-out to LMFAO's Redfoo, who sat in her box during the victory.

LMFAO may have popularised the shuffle, but Sam Stosur put her own unique spin on it after winning through to the third round at the US Open on Wednesday.
Prior to her match against Edina Gallovits-Hall, Stosur got the chance to meet Redfoo (one half of the American electro duo LMFAO) as he took a tour of the facilities at Flushing Meadows.
“He came to the table, said hi. Worked out that he’s a mad tennis fan, loves playing, and is going to be here for a fair while. It was cool,” Stosur said.
He sat in Stosur’s players’ box during her 6-3 6-0 win over Gallovits-Hall on Louis Armstrong Stadium, prompting the Aussie to break into the dance popularised in the video for LMFAO’s track Party Rock Anthem after she shook hands with her opponent.
“I figured, well, there’s only going to be maybe one chance you can do that at the US Open with him there,” she explained.
So did she nail the shuffle?
“I don’t know. I’m sure I looked like a goose. I’m waiting for someone to tell me if it was alright or not,” she laughed.
The Aussie demonstrated her fancy feet for the crowd again during an on-court post-match interview, drawing cheers from the Louis Armstrong Stadium crowd.
Stosur has plenty of reason to dance – she’s now through to the last 32 in New York after two dominant wins.
