Australians Casey Dellacqua and Ashleigh Barty have paired to win the doubles title at the ITF $75,000 event in Toyota, Japan.

The top-seeded compatriots were in imperious form on the indoor carpet of Toyota throughout last week, cruising to the title without the loss of a set.

The win complemented their solid results in the singles draw, with both progressing to the quarterfinals.

“Nice little doubles win in Japan with ashbar96,” Dellacqua tweeted following their 6-1 6-2 win over the third-seeded Japanese-Thai combo of Miki Miyamura and Varatchaya Wongteanchai in the title match.

In the latest singles rankings released by the WTA, Dellacqua falls from No.88 to No.92, while Barty has jumped to N.177 from No.185.
