Ben Weekes (Strathfield, NSW) and Janel Manns (Port Macquarie, NSW) have enjoyed solid performances at the Texas Open Championships in Coppell, Texas, United States on 25-28 April.

Weekes reached the final of the men’s singles competition before losing to American Stephen Welch 6-2 6-3.

The Sydneysider then went on to partner with Ji-Hwan Lee of Korea in the doubles, with the pair reaching the semifinals.

On the women’s side of the doubles draw, Manns teamed up with Ju-Yeon Park of South Korea and progressed to the final.

Emmy Kaiser (USA) and Francisca Mardones (CHI) proved too strong in the decider, winning 6-3 6-3.
