John Tomic has had his credential privileges suspended at all ATP events until further notice.

With John Tomic due to face a Madrid court on May 14 after being accused of assaulting Thomas Drouet, Bernard Tomic’s hitting partner, the ATP released the following statement this morning:

“Following last week’s incident in Madrid concerning John Tomic, and the ensuing investigation, Mr. [John] Tomic’s credential privileges have been suspended at all ATP tournaments until further notice.  The ATP’s investigation into this incident remains on-going.”

Tennis Australia continues to work with the ATP to ascertain the full facts of the incident while providing assistance and support to Bernard Tomic during this difficult time.
