Better known for his booming serve, Sam Groth has shown that he’s more than capable of pulling off seemingly impossible winners.
Playing for the Philadelphia Freedoms, Groth chased down an acutely angled drop shot from James Blake before threading the needle between the net post and the ballkid.
“I wasn’t really thinking. I just saw the ball and took off. As soon as i hit it, I knew it was in. It’s probably the best shot i will ever hit,” said Groth.
