The Legends Lunch honours one of the great players of our sport and celebrates the way in which they have contributed to tennis through their achievements.

In 2014 we applaud Mervyn Rose, winner of seven Grand Slam titles and a champion at all four majors. Rose was ranked inside the world’s top 10 throughout much of his tennis career and represented Australia in the Davis Cup from 1951 to 1957.

2014 will be the 60th Anniversary of Mervyn’s Australian Open singles championship, Australian Open men’s doubles championship and Wimbledon men’s doubles championship. We will also pay tribute to Mervyn and his teammates of the 1957 Australian Davis Cup victory over USA.

The afternoon will comprise of a three-course meal, entertainment and appearances from past Australian and international tennis legends.
