South Australian Luke Saville has stormed to victory over local wildcard Jay Andrijic to reach the final of the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis International #2 Pro Tour event.

On a clear and calm day at the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre, seventh-seeded Saville defeated the 18-year-old 6-4 7-5 in just under two hours.

The victory sends Saville into his second ITF final of 2013; he was a runner-up in Little Rock, Arkansas in April.

Saville will face sixth seed Yasutaka Uchiyama of Japan in Saturday’s final after Uchiyama won his semifinal clash against compatriot and eighth seed Kento Takeuchi, 6-4 6-1.

The final will take place at 10.00am on Saturday.
