Students thrilled as Blacktown blitzed
Students at Blacktown Primary School were thrilled to be the first ones to have the Australian Open trophies visit their school as part of the AO Blitz.

Blacktown South Primary School in New South Wales loves its tennis and got a special treat when the AO Blitz visited recently.
The school was privileged to be the first New South Wales school to have the Australian Open men’s and women’s singles championship trophies visit as part of the AO Blitz roadshow.
According to the school’s sports co-ordinator Robyn Kimbley it was certainly a hit.
“(The AO Blitz visit) was fantastic. The students had a wonderful time. They were out on the tennis courts being active and were very excited to see the trophies,” she said.
