Four American tennis players with an intellectual disability have been invited to compete at Melbourne Park on finals weekend at Australian Open 2014.
The 2014 Australian Championships, sanctioned by Inas – the international federation for para-athletes with an intellectual disability – will feature many of the world’s highest-ranked players.
Among them will be Americans Katherine Richards, Brittany Tagliareni, Benjamin Hadden and Jonathan Fried, who have been given the opportunity to attend and contest the event through the US Athletes Without Limits program.
