Today the tennis family farewelled Wendy Shipp in a moving service at Luther College Chapel.

A former player, coach and administrator, Wendy was a much loved and respected member of the tennis community who sadly lost her long fight with breast cancer on 28 February 2014.

Family, friends, colleagues, and players past and present paid tribute today to Wendy’s courage and a life spent dedicated to her family and friends.

To honour Wendy, a scholarship in her name will be awarded annually to a promising junior player.
