Aussies off to a flyer in French Open qualifying

Thanasi Kokkinakis and Sam Groth are both through to the second round of French Open qualifying after the first day’s play.
Both Groth and Kokkinakis moved through in straight sets, Kokkinakis especially impressive in his 6-1 6-2 win over Tsung-Hua Yang.
Groth, the 28th seed, will face Belgium’s Maxime Authom in the second round, while Kokkinakis will play Niels Desein.
