Australia will field a strong girls’ team at this week’s World Junior Tennis Finals in Prostejov, Czech Republic.
The team, represented by Destanee Aiava, Jeanette Lin and Gabriela Ruffels and coached by Craig Tyzzer, are the fourth seeds in the competition.
Australia qualified for the international team competition final by finishing third at the Asia/Oceania qualifying event in New Delhi in early May.
The United States are the top seeds and reigning champions and head group A; Australia heads Group C and will face Poland, Czech Republic and Peru in round-robin play.
