Nick Kyrgios has withdrawn from the ATP Cincinnati Masters due to injury.

“Gutted to pull out of @CincyTennis but I’ve been suffering with bone stress in my left arm. MRI results were positive. Will be okay for USO,” the 19-year-old Aussie tweeted.

Kyrgios later tweeted that although he wasn’t hitting any backhands, he was back on the practice court for some “high intensity training” with fellow Aussie teen Thanasi Kokkinakis.

Three Australian men – Lleyton Hewitt, Marinko Matosevic and Bernard Tomic – will fly the flag at the Masters 1000 event in the American mid-west.
