Australia’s No.1-ranked wheelchair tennis player Adam Kellerman has scooped the singles and doubles titles at the Wroclaw Cup in Poland.
Kellerman defended his singles title at the ITF 2 Series event, claiming victory with a 6-3 7-5 win over Brit Alfie Hewett.
“I did it! I defended my title against Alfie Hewett 6-3 7-5. It was an intense indoor exchange after it rained all night and morning which turned the clay courts into a swimming pool,” he reflected on his official Facebook page.
There was more joy for the New South Welshman when he paired with Austria’s Martin Legner to beat Swedish-British combination and second seeds Stefan Olsson and David Phillipson 7-5 7-5.
It was Kellerman and Legner’s third straight doubles title as a pair.
Kellerman is currently ranked 13th in the world in singles.
