Simon Rea has given a glowing assessment of Sam Stosur as the pair continue to work together in preparation for the 2015 season.

Rea, who previously worked with Aussie rising star Nick Kyrgios before linking up with Stosur in July, has enjoyed becoming part of the former world No.4’s team in the second half of this year.

“She’s fantastic. Great to work with, great work ethic. Obviously she’s been at the top of the sport for a long time so she has a good understanding of what’s required. She’s been fantastic to work with from day dot,” he said.

“Her diligence, attention to detail, her professionalism and work ethic, even in this pre-season; I (recently) went up to Sydney and spent the week with Sam and her strength and conditioning coach Narelle (Sibte), and they’re hard at it.

“She deserves every bit of success that comes her way because she’s a hell of a hard worker.”
