Tomic, Millman fall in quarters
In separate ATP events, Queenslanders Bernard Tomic and John Millman - who faced off at Australian Open 2016 - fell in quarterfinal matches.

Top seed Bernard Tomic has lost his quarterfinal with Italian Paolo Lorenzi at the ATP Ecuador Open in Quito.
The Australian world No.20 Tomic went down to the sixth seed 6-7(5) 7-5 6-3.
Brazil’s Thomaz Bellucci advanced to the semi-finals with a 7-6 4-6 6-2 win over Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta.
Meanwhile, in Montpellier, France, Australia’s John Millman lost his Open Sud de France quarterfinal with big-serving Frenchman Paul-Henri Mathieu 7-6(5) 5-7 6-3.
Mathieu sent down 17 aces to seal the win and now faces Alexander Zverev for a place in Sunday’s final.
