Nick Kyrgios is through to the last 16 of the Marseille Open in France after beating Canada’s Vasek Pospisil on Tuesday.

The 6-4 6-4 victory sets up a second round meeting with Teymuraz Gabashvili, who upset tournament No.5 seed Gilles Simon.

Kyrgios, the world No.41, is the only Australian in the draw, with Stan Wawrinka the tournament’s top seed.
