Bernard Tomic has fallen in three sets to Nicolas Mahut in the quarterfinals of the Ricoh Open in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
Tomic, seeded No.2, fell 6-7(5) 6-4 6-2 to the eighth-seeded Mahut, who also won the Dutch tournament in 2013.
In a match where the two men combined for 26 aces, Mahut came out on top in one hour, 47 minutes.
The Frenchman will go on to face No.5 seed Sam Querrey in the semifinals.
