Teenager Alex De Minaur verges on the world’s top 350 after another strong performance on the ATP Challenger Tour.

Along the way he scored his first victory over a top-100 opponent; in the last 16 he beat world No.97 Radu Albot of Moldova in three sets.

The quarterfinal finish in France followed on from his run to the Challenger final the week before in Eckental, Germany.

In the past fortnight, De Minaur has won nine of 11 matches and improved his ranking by 195 places.

Another Aussie mover was James Duckworth, who rose eight spots to world No.122.

His progression came after he went all the way to the final of the Kobe Challenger in Japan.
