Zoe Hives moved closer to her career-high ranking after winning the recent Pro Tour title in Toowoomba.

The 21-year-old from Victoria jumped 45 places to world No.268, just 17 spots shy of her high of 251 set back in June.

Hives begun 2018 ranked No.378 but has shaved more than 100 places from her ranking after winning 22 of her 31 matches this season – the majority of those wins coming on Australian soil.

The player she defeated in the Toowoomba final, Ellen Perez, rose 12 places to No.214.
