Aussie squads win 14/u team championships
At the December Showdown, Western Australia claimed the 14/u girls' team event while South Australia won the boys' division. Japan's squads scooped the boys' and girls' 12/u team titles.

Western Australia claimed the 14/u Australian Teams Championship title with a victory over Japan.
The team, which featured 14/u Australian singles champion Talia Gibson, take home the Mary Hawton Trophy as a result of their winning efforts.
RESULTS: 12/u and 14/u Australian Teams Championships
The 14/u boys’ team title – the Sproule Stephens Cup – was won by South Australia over Queensland in Monday’s final at Melbourne Park.
Japanese squads claimed both the boys’ and girls’ teams titles – the Rod Laver Cup (boys) and the Margaret Court Cup (girls).
Japan overcame New South Wales in the boys’ event while the best-performed Australian girls’ team in the 12/u event was Queensland, which finished third behind second-placed New Zealand.
