Hi, I am Ace and unlike ordinary bears, I am a big fan of tennis! I am currently on the road, visiting clubs around NSW to understand the #stateofplay of our sport. My goal is to improve the state of tennis and to inspire as many people (and bears) as I can, to get involved and play our great sport.
As I said, over the next few weeks I will be meeting with clubs across the State, to gain a better understanding and knowledge of tennis venues, meet with my tennis family and to have a hit with my fans! My team and I will then use these findings to assist in targeted planning backed by factual data and identify resource requirements and priorities for clubs. This information will also be used to assist planning with Local and State Government in the following areas:
- Infrastructure development
- Sustainability
- Participation
- Access
- Club governance
- High performance pathways
- Major and community event content
