Tennis NSW prioritises the safeguarding of children within our sport and its members unwaveringly. Tennis NSW, along with Tennis Australia, has signed a letter of intent to join the National Redress Scheme which acknowledges and provides support to the survivors.

Tennis NSW and Tennis Australia have also implemented a number of processes and policies to ensure we are providing the safest possible environment for everyone in our sport.  These policies can be found here.

Tennis NSW CEO Lawrence Robertson says, “Tennis NSW prioritises the safeguarding of children within our sport and its members unwaveringly. As a result of the outcomes of the 2014 Royal Commission into Child Sex Abuse, Tennis NSW has acknowledged its role and has signed a letter of intent to join the National Redress Scheme which acknowledges and provides support to the survivors. Tennis NSW in recent years, has implemented a number of processes and policies to ensure that us, along with our clubs, are providing the safest environment for the people of our sport.”
